appearances include Beethoven's Mass in C. Brahms' Requiem,
Faure's Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Janice's
The Diary of One Who Vanished, Mozart's Exsultate
Jubilate and Requiem, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater,

Emma is also an accomplished recitalist and her performances have included recitals at King's College London, the Bishop's Palace in Hereford, St. Simon Zealotes Church in Chelsea and the Magna Carta Arts Centre. Now living in Lambourn, Emma has sung locally as a soloist with the Newbury Festival of Choirs and Hook Choral Society. She recently performed at Eastbury and Lambourn, and is very pleased to be taking part in her first concert at East Garston. |

for a charity ball at St Gabriel's School. She was recently accepted
on, and has attended, an accompanists' course at the Hereford International
Summer School. Susan sings soprano with Lambourn Church Choir and
also plays the organ for services in Eastbury and East Garston. She

was taking part in Mahler's 3rd Symphony in the Roman amphitheatre
at Orange in France, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas. Tessa's move
to the Lambourn valley has enabled her to revive a sadly neglected
love of making music, and she joined the Lambourn church choir for
their Easter concert this year. Tessa is delighted to be able to take
part in this evening's East Garston concert. |

For
many years Susie sang with Lambourn Church Choir, and now enjoys singing
with the Newbury Choral Society under the terrifying direction of
Leo Hussain. |

The
evening was a runaway success with every ticket sold. One Hundred
and Fifty people filed into All Saints' Church for this event
and I think it would be accurate to report that One Hundred and Fifty
people felt it a privilege to have been present at such a well produced,
talent laden concert. The prolonged applause prompted an encore (
sung by Emma) which in turn was greeted with even louder applause.
To some it all up in a nutshell - A faultless, class performance from every artist - a concert I personally will remember for a very long time to come. |
Immediately
after the performance Reverend Tony Cumberlidge thanked each artist
personally and presented flowers.. |
One
final presentation was in order and that was to another very talented
duo - our buffet purveyors Di Cox and her assistant. The supper
these two ladies produced for one hundred and fifty hungry people
was of superb quality |
