Coombe Barton Inn
Garston Gallopers in Cornwall 2013
That
evening we had arranged to dance before supper at The Coombe Barton
Inn, Crackington Haven. It was a beautiful seaside village, with the pub next to the beach. |
We
danced in the car park in the evening sunshine, watched by a small
bemused audience and Robert’s dog! |
Foot Note....
Some
of us had to head for home on the Sunday morning, but those who
remained had one final opportunity to dance, outside the Witchcraft
Museum in Boscastle. This was a lovely wide flat area next to two
cafes and a footbridge over the river, so quite a few spectators
built up. |
The
manager of the museum offered us free entry, which was taken up
by several members. We discovered that we wear bells to ward off
evil spirits! Thanks go to the National Trust for allowing us to
dance on their property. |
