The Quarryman Inn
Garston Gallopers in Cornwall 2013
The
Quarryman at Edmonton near Wadebridge was indeed a suitable venue
for the next leg of our Cornish tour. The weather was sunny, though a little chilly and the pub was perfect, with a large flat area for dancing. |
Trigg
(wearing green baldrics) - is a traditional Morris Ring side - so
all male with the oldest dancer being 82! They performed several
dances including some amusing versions of familiar dances which
caused a few smiles. |
Tywardreath
(black and gold baldrics) is quite a new mixed side, formed about
3 years ago, with some dancers being members of both Trigg and Tywardreath teams. |
We
took turns to dance and finished up by dancing altogether. It was
time for a Cornish Pasty! |
