Christmas Lunch
For the over 60's December 2009.

the 20th of December 2009 ~ Thirty-two guests attended a full
three course meal at the the annual over 60s Christmas lunch. |

| The table
and hall decoration for this increasingly popular event was the
work of Sally Smith and Wendy Money, ably assisted by Sally's
husband, Derek. This year's dinner was funded by selling squares
on a board , with the prize being a wheel barrow full of alcoholic
and soft drinks, generously donated by Social Club regulars and
a number of village residents. |

Digweed once again donned his chef's hat to produce a superb Christmas
Dinner while our diners were looked after at table by Wendy Money,
Sarah Digweed, Sally Smith, Teagan Gibbard, Shannon Rodbourn,
Deana Carpenter and Brooke Gibbard. Our bar staff for the afternoon
- Sarah Gibbard, Wendy Smith, and Raymond Baker. In charge of
the raffle - Alan Money and Jenson Gibbard. .Finally,
A big thank you to Brian Cowen from the Trustee's who gave up
his time to come along and help to serve the lunch. |
