Scarecrows
Scarecrow Competition 13th of September 2009
In
2008, the fete organizers introduced a scarecrow competition to
the proceedings which resulted in just three entries. This year
however was a completely different story and there were in fact
no less than twenty-three scarecrows for our two judges to meet
and interview. |
It was decided from the outset that there was to be no particular
theme here, as it was considered more villagers would enter scarecrows
if restrictions were minmal. A good battle plan that worked perfectly.
Given the success, this is to become a yearly feature of fete day. |
