Village Fete 1994
The Village Fete - Summer 1994
|
The
1994 village fete was held in the garden of Mask Cottage
courtesy of Charlie and Ginney James. The idea was a sound one
as back then Mask Cottage Racing Stables were in full operation,
so as well as enjoying the fete, it gave those interested in Racing
and Race Horses, the chance to get up close to some true racing
thorughbreds |

I particularly
like this set of photos, which incidentally, arrived on my desk
courtesy of Dawn and Chris Tonge, because whom-so-ever the photographer
was, concentrated his or her attention heavily on people. Nothing
tells a story better than the actions and re-actions of people. |

To
those of us that were there on the day - I hope very much
that you have enjoyed looking back on the event - and also found
a few moments to reflect on the many old friends within the
pictures, who sadly, for one reason or another - are no longer
with us. |
