again Dawn Tonge organised and ran her annual Macmillan Coffee
morning here in East Garston. Dawn reports that "It
was a very pleasant morning with around 35 people calling
in the Village Hall for Coffee and biscuits" "In
all we raised £331.00p."

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event. We ask people across the UK - and sometimes further afield - to hold a coffee morning, where donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last
year 43,000 people registered to hold a coffee morning, raising
£7.9 million. Over the years, the World’s Biggest
Coffee Morning has grown to include many different types of
event - from a traditional coffee morning with cake and conversation,
to a pub quiz in the evening. Whether you raise £20, £200 or £2,000, you will be part of a nationwide event that really does make a difference. |
